DREFF 24/7: A New Online Platform for Environmental Films!

December 21, 2017

Never relaxing in its efforts to promote greater environmental awareness and sustainable socioeconomic development, the Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival (DREFF) has decided to take yet another leap into the digital realm, in addition to continuing with its trademark presentations, panel discussions, workshops, global strategic alliances, and exchanges of knowledge and experience with international experts.

DREFF 24/7 is an online platform which provides access at home or on the go to environmental films which have been featured in prior editions of the Dominican Republic Environmental Film Festival. It also includes other films that enrich or complement the messages that the catalogue delivers. DREFF 24/7 is DREFF a-la-carte, at any time, in any place.

It is already available online at http://24-7.dreff.org and boasts an interesting variety of shorts, feature-length films, and past winners of the Globo Verde Dominicano Award, an initiative of the DREFF. And as time marches on, more films will be added to the platform.

This open and free digital platform allows the DREFF to reach even more cities throughout the Dominican Republic and around the world, promoting – without borders – the protection, conservation, and sustainability of our planet.

We hope that you’ll be a part of our new adventure! Enjoy DREFF 24/7 and share it with your friends and family!

Both DREFF and DREFF 24/7 are initiatives of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), www.globalfoundationdd.org.
