Film SynopsisDominicana Bajo el Mar, a 45-minute documentary, has several segments dedicated to the conservation of the seas. It shows us images of underwater explorations in sunken caverns from thousands of years ago, the rescue of sunken ships, research done this year about the humpbacked whale at the Dominican Marine Mammal Sanctuary and segments on the invasion of the lion fish into the waters of the Caribbean, among other issues that tell us about the necessary work we must undertake for the conservation of the oceans.

In addition, the documentary shows images of the enormous damage caused by over-fishing in our waters and the need to educate and help our fishermen improve their income by cooperating as tour guides for underwater diving,
leaving behind their old jobs of indiscriminant depredation.
